Privacy Policy

Effective March 26, 2026

This privacy policy describes how Moonlit Psychiatry PLLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information through the perinatalpsych.com website ("Site"). This policy applies only to the Site itself — it does not replace or modify our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which governs the use and disclosure of protected health information (PHI) in connection with clinical care.

Information We Collect

When you use the Site, we may collect:

  • Information you provide directly — such as your name, phone number, email address, and insurance information when you submit a referral form or use our booking tools.
  • Scheduling information — when you use our appointment booking tool (powered by IntakeQ), you interact directly with IntakeQ's platform, which has its own privacy policy.
  • Usage data — standard web server logs including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We use Vercel for hosting, which collects this data as part of standard service delivery.

How We Use Your Information

  • To process referrals submitted through our referral form
  • To help you check insurance acceptance and schedule appointments
  • To send email notifications related to referrals (via Resend)
  • To operate and improve the Site

Third-Party Services

The Site uses the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • IntakeQ — for appointment scheduling and patient intake
  • Supabase — for insurance lookup and referral data storage
  • Resend — for sending referral notification emails
  • Vercel — for website hosting and delivery
  • Google Fonts — for web typography (may collect usage data per Google's privacy policy)

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

Cookies and Tracking

The Site does not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. Third-party services embedded on the Site (such as IntakeQ or Google Fonts) may set their own cookies as described in their respective privacy policies.

Data Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information transmitted through the Site, including HTTPS encryption for all connections. However, no method of internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

HIPAA and Clinical Information

If you become a patient, the collection, use, and disclosure of your protected health information (PHI) is governed by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which is provided separately at the start of care. This website privacy policy does not modify or limit your rights under HIPAA.

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
